Meet our employees: Aase is a key player in SOBY's logistics and customer service

Aase Helene Jensen is internal sales backup at SOBY and is responsible for a number of logistics tasks, purchasing and translation. She came to us with a background as a business language correspondent and more than 20 years of experience as an administrative employee within international exports. Aase ensures that the customers' goods are sent on time and at the best possible price. Due to her linguistic background, she often has direct contact with our customers when they have questions about deliveries.

When a customer calls in the morning, it is Aase Jensen they meet on the phone. Here she is ready for questions about deliveries, coordination of freight, prices and much more. If she is not at her desk, she can often be found in production. Here she coordinates the freight with the warehouse and is happy to help put freight labels on pallets and packages.

An advantage to be able to meet customers in their own language
"I help the customers to ensure that their goods are sent on time and at the best possible price. Sometime, someone needs a follow-up on their order. My linguistic background means that I often have direct contact with the customer. It's nice for everyone that they can talk to someone in their own language", says Aase.

Great problem solver with a natural sense of service
At SOBY, there is broad agreement that Aase's resources and commitment make a difference for the customers. But according to director and co-owner Mette Frantsen, Aase's contribution to daily life also helps to shape the internal culture of the company. "She is good at navigating different tasks while maintaining an empathetic approach to customer service. This helps to provide the strong sense of teamwork that we are so proud of. Her ability to solve challenges is absolutely essential to running our logistics and customer care tasks smoothly," says Mette Frantsen.

Motivated by the social aspect of her job
Aase says that the job has developed in a more digital direction during the time she has been at SOBY. It makes her tasks faster and easier to solve, and she has been given more nuanced tasks. "Over the years, I have been given several different tasks to solve, for example in connection with purchases. It gives you the feeling of making a difference to more people", she says.

"I am very motivated by the cooperation with my colleagues and the flat structure in the company. There is room for a good laugh and social interaction, which I value highly. I also like the contact with the customers, in writing as well as on the phone," she concludes.
